JEBO are proud to announce that they have finished recording basic tracks for their as yet untitled second album. Focussing on the aspects that made the first such a success - a hard working rhythm section, angular guitar parts, shimmering keyboards and the wonderful vocals of James - the album promises to be a real treat!
Studio sessions were once again completed with the loveable Ali Chant at ToyBox studios in Portland Square, Bristol. Ali's contribution is immeasurable (not in terms of royalties though…) and the studio has proved to be a great addition to the ever expanding JEBO network.
The tracks themselves are ready and waiting for further work before they go away for final mixing. Your best chance to hear them will be when JEBO next play live. And on that bombshell, I'm free to mention 2 Classic Rock Society shows. On June 19th JEBO will hit the live scene again in what promises to be a fantastic gig in Southend with Swedish Prog Rockers Black Bonzo and it doesn't end there, on July 12th JEBO will be supporting the legendary It Bites in Rotherham. Both are Classic Rock Society gigs. Details to follow on the gigs page. Hope to see you there…

Further developments are here as promised! Since the last report, vocal sessions have been added to the band's live takes from August, and just last week JEBO and John Burns returned once again to visit Ali at Toybox Studios for a very productive session where 4 more tracks were laid down. See some photo's here!
Mr Burns (not the one from The Simpsons) has been reported as saying "I'm really really pleased with these sessions, the guys' attitude is so professional, their musicianship is just great. I love the fact that this is a 'band', not just a collection of individuals, the teamwork and atmosphere in the studio is such a pleasure to work with."

Hello and welcome to the new JEBO website.
I know that things seem quiet in the JEBO camp at the moment but we have been very busy working on new material for the next album, which we hope to be ready by September/October time.
So far we have about six tunes that have been demo'd, some by the whole band and some by Rob on his own. We are at the stage now of thinking where to record this album. We're looking into the possibilities of going to Germany or sticking with a local studio like Rockfield in Monmouth. One thing we do know is that we have some very strong material coming through and we're going to make sure it's just right before we go near a studio.
As for the new site, we have a new Gallery with some pictures from our show in Neuss and a couple of tracks from that night on the Music page for you to enjoy.
The 7th Day video is still up on YouTube and we are looking into making a new video for ‘Sinking Without You’.
See you soon.
